I wouldn’t do fake sugar, it’s really bad for you, but If you really need sugar, but you don’t want to do real sugar, use stevia! Stevia isnt sugar or fake sugar, it’s all natural! It comes from a leaf and is zero calorie! And fat, from foods, IS good for you. Butter, bacon, full fat yogurt is good for you!

@KaeruthePaladin yeah. thing is, ages ago I too was carb-phobic. And then I realized… in our evolution, we would have eaten a LOT of fruit. As we evolved from monkeys. We would be eating tons of bananas and stuff, which is all CARBS.
There is a lot of debate whether it’s healthier to burn fat or carbs for energy. I think it’s carbs, but that’s just my opinion

@hoppimike
You can survive but you will be weak. People tell me that low carb diets lead to massive muscle loss aswell if you do them for too long.
When I first started Bodybuilding I went low carb, I built muscle got stronger and lost fat but when I got really lean I noticed I wasnt making any strength gains and was actually starting to get weaker so they’re not good for weightlifters long term I’d say.

I found that pork rinds are a great substitute for potato chips. Shirataki noodles are great because they absorb the flavor of the sauce (just clean them very well first) and they are high fiber/low carb noodle replacement (they now have angel hair. fettuccine, macaroni, and rice styles too). For something sweet I make low carb homemade icecream with heavy cream, sweetener, and vanilla, or sugar free jello,etc
Low carb can be easy to handle if you know what to get.

Do you really find that you can thrive without carbs? I really think carbs are the body’s preferred energy source (fruit). Aren’t they?

This is really helpful information thanks, as I find it so hard to cut down on carbs.
Did you know that Scientists have now isolated a compound in seaweed that can block 82% of the carbs we consume (yes you heard it right!!!), so hopefully it is going to be even easier to cut right back on carbs in the future, from using the helpful tips on this post to taking this incredible seaweed.

Great video, but did you know that Tesco do cans of fiery diet ginger beer, in packs of six that are sweetned with sucralose? They are fab, and have been a huge crutch for me as I lose weight doing low carb.They also do cloudy lemonade diet of course, which are sweetened the same, quite nice really.
