Polder Easy-Read Digital Kitchen Scale (KSC31028),
I did some shopping and comparing, before taking a chance and ordering this one. I found it listed in several places, but the descriptions of the size were not the same, and none of the descriptions mentioned what type of battery it used. Anyway, I rcvd it, and it appears to be a quality product, worth paying a little extra for. I dont know why all the descriptions say it measures in increments of 0.125, I thought that sounded a little weird; mine obviously displays the weight in pounds, ounces, and 0.1 of an ounce. It comes with (2) 3V lithium batteries (CR2032) which I presume are long lasting, and can be replaced. The size is: 6-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ long X 1-3/8″ high. It seems to be very responsive; and the large tilted display is easy to read and wont be blocked by large bowls. I wanted to buy a cheaper one, but they sounded like junk, whereas this one doesnt have any drawbacks that I can tell

Great scale, works as advertised, very easy to read,
Looked at many scales and at Food Network’s Alton Brown’s recommendation tried to find a scale to weigh up to 11 pounds. Did not like those that did for various reasons, mostly large size. The Polder weighs up to 6.5 lb. and has proven to be just fine. My main purposes are to weigh flour and other dry ingredients for baking, and for smoothies. My glass blender jar is 3.6 lb and the 6 smoothie ingredients, at 4 oz. each, are another 1.5 lb so well under the max device capacity. Scale is easy and quick to tare as each ingredient is added. Only concern is that when adding liquid ingredients, there is sometimes a delay for the added weight to actually change the display, so add slowly or stop for a second or two until display catches up, otherwise you could easily add too much. As other reviewers mentioned this scale is compact, absurdly simple to use, very easy to clean, works well.

Very Good Scale,
Took me forever to pick a scale. This was the right choice. Very easy to read. Glass top is a good size and cleans up quickly if there are spills. The large display with its relatively steep angle is quite visible even with a large bowl on the scale. Very simple to switch between grams and ounces and one-touch tare make adding ingredients a breeze. 7 lb. capacity is more than sufficient (as opposed to the 4 lb. capacity of many competing models). Also, it is very accurate, based on my testing with commercial weights. Attractive, compact, high-quality, easy to use, no-frills item that I am very happy with.
